Jungle Jim is a fun little Jungle Cactus, also known as Rhipsalis.
That's right, cacti *do* grow in jungles, not just dry areas.
These
Jungle Cactus grow high in the treetops of the jungles of Central
and South America. They root into the fallen debris that collects
in the crotches of the tree or into the tree surface itself. Luckily,
you can grow them at home, as well.
In
the jungle, frequent rains run over the roots of Rhipsalis, but
drain away. Your Rhipsalis should be planted in a very porous mix
that allows for quick drainage and frequent waterings, without becoming
heavy or soggy.
Grow
in bright, indirect light indoors or out. Protect from temperatures
below 40°F.
